Milford Cliffs - beach info needed Hi Guys I am looking for a bit of help please, I was taking my dog for a walk along the cliff top at the west side of Milford-on-sea and decided to drop down to the beach for a stroll back along the shoreline, after a short while I started to notice that every 2-3 foot there were fresh mussel shells (empty)the odd one or two then clumps of up to six or so these were up on the high tide line, also there were quite alot of spider crab shells ranging from 2" - 4" across and alot more cuttle fish bones than normal. I had never really noticed the spider crab shells before so started to collect a few and count the rest, I soon gave up when I reached 50 empty shells, this seemed quite alot for a stretch of about quater of a mile, so my question is........ is this the work of fish or a trawler??? I look forward to your replies Bud __________________ Rough seas = Ground baiting

Re: Milford Cliffs - beach info needed the local spider crabs must have just peeled i recon, s/w winds & high tides may have pushed the shells to the beach. __________________ 2008, sessions..25, total blanks..3 species,..20 its easier for a man to destroy the light within himself than to defeat the darkness all around him.

Re: Milford Cliffs - beach info needed thanks geejayy, went down there again yesterday evening, lost more spidercrab shells and some of them whole, so like you say they must be peeling, not too sure about the amount of empty mussle shells. Bud __________________ Rough seas = Ground baiting
