| Re: 4x4 I saw that about the Toyota (thank god for BBC world) Thing is though the defender has bin doin that fer donkeys, plus parts are way cheaper than Toyota, the SWB light weight Defender is awesome especially with a V8, absolutly crap on the road though, mine topped out at an ear slitting hum at 80mph and handled like a pregnent hippo on a ice rink with skates, ahhhhhhhhhh the joys of leaf spring suspension |

| Re: 4x4 Ben if you can change gear in a defender mate ya can change gear in owt mate. You will never see rust on the body, the bodys are made of alluminium, only the chassis rusts. They keep thier price cause they are work horses, a 1960 defender is the same as a 2000 model, bar a few luxerys like electric windscreen wipers !!!!!!!!! |
