help with bait.

hi, i as wondering if anyone could help me out. im just trying to get back into beach fisshing after leaving it for over a year because of the birth of my first daughter.

i really dont have a clue as to the type of bait to use, im going to be fishing of the coast line in gran canari and was wondering what is the general kind of bait people are using for beach fishing.

any help is welcomed.

Not sure about the Canaries. I live in Mediterranean Spain, so things are probably very different.
However you can try worms such a s Coreano, Titular, Americano and Tita. I can buy these in any of the tackle shops and a lot of the marina's have machines that look like Coke machines. You can buy worms from them.

Sardine and Squid are also good baits.

How did you get on???

I live just round the corner fron Granny can. I normally use Prawn, caught just about every thing around here on it.
And what doesnt eat the Prawns, eats what eats the prawns so you sorted for the day!


Frozen "langostinos numero 7" from Hyperdino does me.

sorry for the delayed reply been busy at work, i will try that next month after i get paid there is a hiperdino 2 minute walk from were i live.

i will post any success i have here when i go again.
