Question lyme regis info needed

long way round too a question here

fished sat night with the baggie one, but due to circumstances(road closures, timing) never made chesil so played with pout and dogs at charmouth, was interesting too see beach after fast dropping tide, but we really should have fished the flood

but last night i took the leftover worm bait down to monmouth beach in lyme regis as 3-4 mins from where working at moment, fished cobb end infront of boats had a pout every cast and lost several rigs after tide turned as is as snaggy as snaggy can be

anyone got any advise for monmouth beach as guess should be good over rough ground, or about wether you can fish the cobb?? or any of harbour etc as would be so convienient for work

Caught some Gars & small Pollack off the Cobb using float tactics many years ago mate. Other than that I can't tell you much about it. I do remember that it was well snaggy though.

Re: lyme regis info needed

Tons of Wrasse there (Small). I go there every Summer and fish there. Deep Sea Fishing trips there never really produce much from the times I've been bream and pout. But hey if the fishing aint producing. Go in the royal standard for a pint!
