Question help with casting?

i had got quite good at casting my multiplier now and i thought it was time to take my level wind out to try and get my casts a little further. the reel is a chieftain cant remember the model , its not a good one jus bought a cheap one to start off with. but after taking the level wind off i cant stop birding on every cast i just dont know what it is any help appreciated thanks jb.

in my opinion mate,i would put the level wind back on,
from your other report you seem to be fishing piers,you often don't need to cast very far on piers , casting enormous distances is a useful skill but for someone like yourself bait presentation and gaining experience are probably more important

i hardly ever fish piers the only ones i do are the holyhead bw and the dock down here , i usually fish rock marks in treaddur bay or porth d .

well i managed to sort it out now all i had to do waz get the line on tighter and flatter on the reel.
