Are there any rocky marks ?
I am looking at a Shakespeare KX4000 multyplier on ebay. Any of you used one ??
Brixgazza
In Sussex, Shoreham beach, Peacehaven, Brighton Marina and Newhaven are all good spots. I'm just getting used to fishing that coastline myself. I think Saltdean and Rottingdean are rocky marks. Incidentally, I've going to Peacehaven this Saturday (11th) morning if you're interested, Andy G will also be there.

This is the reel I've got, well worth £70.

Re: brixhamgazza

Sorry to sound a little thick Steve, but is that because the braking system wears down? Or do the components just wear out?

Re: brixhamgazza

Welcome Gazza.

I have a pair of 525's and they are excellent reels. They cast well and handle most ground. Just watch out for the mag setting as sometimes it can be moved to "fast" by accident... instant birdie!

Cheers

well from brighton to eastbourne its quite rocky with beachy head near eastbourne but you have to whact out for the tides around beachy head
there are ony one or two places you can get down on the rocks as i would not recomend climbing as its all chalk rock but their is the od stair case down here and there
