Exclamation **** IMPORTANT NEWS **** (members day out shore fishing UPDATED)****

i must apologise to all members !!

ive had to transfrere the fishing from the white house or huirst castle to hengistbury head !

ive spoken to pro-takle today and because of the tides bringing in so much heavy weed its covering your hook length within mins so he has advised me to move it to hengistbury head

ive fished it before when its been like this and there really is no point in trying !!

so if its ok with everyone we are going to hangistbury head because i hear its fishing well at the moment !

we will be fishing for >> garfish, mackerel, pollack, ballan wrasse and a few bass and mullet its been fish well on the float 6 foot deep for pollack

sorry for mucking everyone about but iam going for the better option of hengistbury head

will meet in car park at hengistbury head in christchurch at 8am we can decide to fish the groyne which is up towards the huts we will have to take the "land train" or the "noddy train" as they call it lol because its too far to walk if we dont catch this we can fish off the end of the car park or on the beach

if you would like to pm me i will be happy to give out any info needed

PORTLAND JON >>>>>>>>

i have to changed the venue to hengistbury head for the shore fishing on the 4th of september because pro-tackle have advised me to due to heavy weed being brought in by the tide is covering the hook within a few mins. so if its ok we will meet in carpark at hengistbury head in christchurch at 8am we can decide to fish the groyne which is up towards the huts we will have to take the "land train" or the "noddy train" as they call it lol because its too far o walk if we dont catch this we can fish off the end of the carpark or on the beach i will sort the directions out when i finish work today !!

Re: **** IMPORTANT NEWS **** (members day out shore fishing UPDATED)****

saturday is the day then lads !!! i cant think of anything else to put about the day just lets hope its a good days fishing !!

does everyone knoe how to get there ???????

meet in the carpark at 8am

when your in the carpark there should be a golf corse to your left and the enterance to henisbury head , theres a black gate and it says cars entering heisbury head ! there should be a black hut in ahead which sell tickets to the land train. this takes you up to the huts and beach at the end of henisbury head this train will take us and all our tackle to the point we want to fish its about a 10 min walk from there to the groyne. we should not get too mnany people around here b/cuz its so remote

i advise you to bring some sea floats, hoping its calm, and the usual ledger tackle also a spinning rod and some plugs may come in handy

we will have to find out when the last land train comes back we dont wanna miss it because iots a 2 mile walk back !!

best of luck lads hope we all have a good day, an have a safe journey down
