Boat Trip for Bass?

I am organising a day trip and would like some ideas and some advice.

We have arranged to do a fishing trip for BASS. However, I have never fished for bass before and would like some advice on where best to fish for bass and what tackle and bait would be best to use.

Any help, would be extremely appreciated....
