| Re: bass fishing advice needed bigbury on sea can produce some good bass now and then , also hope cove .. i dont think its down to fishing the right area that much and more just being in the right place at the right time when that specimen swims by ...i fish certain areas for bass and can blank for 3 or 4 times in a row then another day in the same place i can get 2 or 3 .... the joys of fishing !!! __________________ obsessed is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated .. species hunt team winner 2005 and 2006..with old smoothy.. |

| Re: bass fishing advice needed i dont think there is many people who use this forum that can say they have had a specimen bass from the shore! they are very elusive and i have to agree with kev you need to be in the right place at the right time... somethings ive learnt that may help you... fish at first light or sunset as soon as the sun comes up over the horizon and is shining on the water it kills the fishing and the bass move on too deeper water. fish surf beaches after storms and dont be afraid to use big baits whole squid whole joey mackeral the mouth of a big bass is like a bucket and they will find no problems at all in swallowing such baits! __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think! |
