Re: spinning for bass??

i dont think so the smaller ones may move out into slightly deeper water but you always hear of the bigger ones still being caught unlike the mullet.....when they go they are gone until next summer

Re: spinning for bass??

bass dont really migrate, but they do have seasons in which they come inshore. bass come into shore in the spring and summer times, and then go back to the deeper seas because the temperature starts to drop. by the end of september you have little chance to catch them again from sure until april through to august. hope that helps

Re: spinning for bass??

well to be honest there is a chance of you getting a few, im just saying that your chances are decreased alot at this time of year, because they prefer to be out at sea, and not as many come in with the tide. i know this place where there is a large pool the sea flows into, and during summer you see thousands jumping out, and now i cant see any!

Re: spinning for bass??

well if i was you i would still go. because if you dont go you will never catch anything! and besides i have had a 2 and a half pounder when they were out of season. you can always catch them, its just the amount you catch is minimal. so go for it! and if you do, i hope you catch a nice fish
