With the exceptionally mild weather, there are lots and lots of bass to be had off the ness.

Im hopeing the commercials hit them hard and so leave my beloved cod alone this winter.

Me neither. Enjoy the bass while they stick around and I'm sure it won't be long before a really cold spell drives them into deeper water. That's when those lovely cod will show. Let's face it, it's early days yet, we're still only half way through autumn. Kind regards.

Most of them only schooly size though.

Yes lots of 1 to 3 pounders, but the odd bigger one to low doubles showing as well.
