Re: moving to exmouth, need help

Best people to speak to are Pinguprogress who lives in Exmouth and Wellyfish who does a lot of lure fishing for bass around the corner in the Torbay area. To get advice on fly fishing for bass Old Smoothhound is the expert. I'm sure if you send a private message to any of them you'll get lots of help.

Thanks for that Pross. The house move is going slow at the moment, god its a bore. Too many people trying to make to much out of me at the moment for doing nothing.
When I know the moving date I will get in contact with the above, and hope that they will help me out. Thanks again, michael

Re: moving to exmouth, need help

Its not the exmouth estate agents that are slowing things down, its the ones in oxford. The house in exmouth is a cash buy and know chain, but the people who are buying here are having a few delays at their end, and we all wait .
The food is great????????? sorry what do you mean??????
Whats going on down there at the moment, anyone catching?

Cool Re: moving to exmouth, need help

We tend to have a bit of a food and fish in when we meet...its called the Vekkie Brekkie a la Smoothound

Basically bacon and egg butties or rolls cooked in the boot of my Vectra on my travel stove!

Re: moving to exmouth, need help

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, busy sorting things out. I am interested in lure fishing for bass, yes I know we all are. And maybe a bit of saltwater fly depending on what is going on. I have heard that the bass are starting to show along the dorset area, in what numbers I don,t know. When will they show along the devon sea line and in the estuary.
How bad do the hoilday makers make it for sea fishing in the area. Here in oxford during the summer the rivers are completly lined with rods,
michael
