unusual baits for bass

recently my dad wanted to try something new, he went down to lidl and bought a cumberland sausage, he later that evening caught a 7 and a half pound bass of the shore. we have continued to use this bait and found it works anywhere anytime. so far we have tried salami,potato,boiled egg and a pepperami, all of these seemed to work!! also mullet enjoy a single piece of rice on a size 14 hook!

we need more bait ideas, any1 else have sum strange but affective baits?

bacon, cocktail sausages. to attract them throw loads of bread in and they all jump at it

me thinks all fish are searching for there natural foods whitch are not there any more due to various reasons<global warming overfishing etc>they now eat anythink,marmite,chips,bacon,bread,etc maybe thats the reason my perfectly prepaired crab or ragworm baits dont get touched
