Spring Bass fishing

Hello,
Thinking of going to South Devon next week for a week or two, what do you think the chances of shore fishing for Bass? Bit to cold or worth a punt, otherwise it'll be a carp lake!

very very quiet arround at the moment, have heard of the first few mackeral, but almost no bass

it's that time of year i guess when you can't wait to get into them but just to early, do it it every year myself though...guess you know how it is, thanks for the reply though..aldousjohn

First Bass are starting to show at Kimeridge in Dorset, so it might just be worth a go!

went out last week on my local tidal river here in s.e.Wales no luck,
they come in after the elvers which havent turned up yet.
ANy time know i hope big tides this week so fingers crossed for NOW

the bass have been round all winter down here, only smal but the biguns are starting to come out now, i had a 6 pounder yesterday

Mr Bass man is right,lots of shoalies down here but the bigger ones are showing.
