Re: bass sizes

36cm the poxy goverment (shaw) has overturned the increase, which proves they dont give a monkeys **** about fish stocks etc. The commercials are free to continue plundering until there are no fish left. The next step will be sea fishing licences but what for ther wont be any fish left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. RANT JUST BEGINNING

QUICK NOTE CORNWALL IS 37.5CM.

Re: bass sizes

At Teignmouth the limit is 38cm but the harbour master and fisheries enforcement boat ask you politely to put back anything under 41cm as the local club all respect that. The fisheries boat board you to tell you and it is a little intimidating! Especially as it is faster than mine!!
To be honest if you want to feed a few people you need a fish of 3-4lbs anyway. The little ones are too much head and bone so give them a chance.

Go get 'em!!!!

Re: bass sizes

wrong nimue. min size on the teign is 36cm most of us who fish it regularly respect that and tend to only keep the larger sizes, BUT there are a lot who dont give a toss and will keep anything. Local fisheries very rarely get out of bed and there is no harbour master at the moment. There is loads of ilegal keeping of bass just take a look in the local fish mongers.
