feathers

Has anybody ever cought bass on feathers on the shore or piers?.Just wondering. Hope to hear from you soon thanks.

I've had an occasional schoolie on feathers & a few years back a mate of mine took a complete novice mackerel fishing on Chesil Beach. He landed a 9lb Bass on feathers on his first ever trip (Beginners luck). I think you have a better chance with a plug or Dexter lure though.

I fished Southend Pier in a comp earlier this year ..... actually came 4th with 2 Bass - yep just 2 Bass ... thats how dire the fishing was .... my mate won it with 10 Bass (All schoolies) 9 caught on feathers !

I have seen them caught off South Parade Pier as well - but all schoolies again ....
