Question llyen peninsula advie for bass

I was just wondering if anyone an offer me any advice on Bass fishing, I have only ever caught 3 in 17years of sea fishing.

I go fishing on the llyen peninsula in North Wales on four locations mainly, Aberdaron Beach I caught two here on squid after a massive storm, Porth Oer(whistling sands) I caught one here on mackerel strip. the other locations ive tried are Hells mouth and Porth Ysgo.

The best baits ive found for the fish in general in this area are mackerel or squid or both, i tend to have most success on whistling sands, im guaranteed to catch turbot everytime i go there. ive tried worm baits rag and lug and sandeels i neva catch anything on them indeed the baits come back untouched, and its the same with peeler crab, occasionally a dog fish or coalfish may nail this.

However i was just wondering would i be worth while switchin to spinning??
