Yeh there a quite a few, fish from the marina rock arms will get you some action, and dont be afraid to fish inside the arm as it can be quieter. If you head past the pier on a low spring tide you will see a natural rocky reef that you can fish on at low tie, try this late when it is starting to darken as this will be a good time for bass. And i know there is a rip tide that comes close in past the pier, but i cannot reach it as my casting is poor, good for cod in winter. Hope this helps and if you are fishing this week let me know if you wanna meet up for a fish as the tides are very good his week. ![]() |

Re: Eastbourne Bass Fishing Aha!! When you mention Marina arms I assumed Brighton Marina. Now I can see you meant Sovereign harbour.....Sorry dudes......!! There is strictly no fishing inside on the Brighton Marina. __________________ WWW.FISHYROB.CO.UK Diary of an Obsessed Fishing Guide

Re: Eastbourne Bass Fishing I have been across a few times. The biggest reason I dont spend too much time up there is my insurance wont cover me for guiding on those reefs!! (Specific exclusion. I hope to have a better policy for next year!) I dont mind for the rough ground nearer to home, but some of the ledges on the head are properly dangerous, and I wouldnt risk it with my current insurance. Even the rough ground nearer to me n Brighton I shouldnt take customers, but I point out that there is zero risk, and I havent had a customer say no, and I havent lost any either.... so far.......... My rates to the end of this year are £10 per hour for up to three anglers inclusive, and inclusive of bait and tackle if required.(quite often cheaper than three anglers sorting out their bait for a session, especially where cod and hounds are concerned!!) Next year the rates will be £10 per hour for one on one, and an additional £5 per hour per additional person. Still the cheapest guide I know, and with this years bass returns, one of the more propsperous as well....... ;) __________________ WWW.FISHYROB.CO.UK Diary of an Obsessed Fishing Guide

Re: Eastbourne Bass Fishing Ok fella sounds fair enough, i would be interested in taking you up on a guided fish over your way if possible. I could do with some help regarding fishing tactics from the beach and set ups etc, Just tweaking really. One thing i could really do with help on is my casting as it is not the smoothest! But i use fixed spool as i have a abu mag elite but just cant get on with it. Could we arrange something? the only downside is it may be throught the week as missus takes up my time at the weekend ![]()

Re: Eastbourne Bass Fishing ok rob cheers i think the best times for me would be week starting the 28th sep as i have a week off work. If i was going to fish down your way one place of interest to me is the seaford beaches. I can get down to there m8 but i dont drive and the missus will be working so my taxi service will be out of town. I cycle everywhere so from seaford station to the beach is not a problem. But really im open to what you think is productive this time of year. Ley me know ![]() ![]()
