| richard we are going to be there for 5.am and fish till 4.pm the other lads are off to a party we want to get there early so we can get the good pegs the tackel we are using are hook hairs 8 and 10 john roberts pellets bands kamasan feeder black cap 50g marine halibut pellets 3mm i bag for feeder 2 pints of hemp or as much as u want to use marine halibut pellets 14mm for hook bait and any other bait that you want to bring do you no how to get there? __________________ Cheers. .Carlton. | Re: barbel fishing color=lime well,definite touch of jealousy here !i read your post about barbel and im green at the gills - theres very little barbel fishing in scotland,in fact the only place i know of is the river Clyde where,legend has it,they were stocked by anglers bringing them up from England.they have certainly flourished as the river is now full of barbel fry,so im down there every night pouring in buckets of sweetcorn and boilies to feed them up!the Scots record came from the clyde,9lbs or so,not a real big un but i wouldnt mind having it!Anyway,wheres that sweetcorn,luncheon meat,boilies,hemp,worms....dynamite? |
