| Re: Greys Prodigy barble rod I know the Greys Prodigy carp rods are very highly rated by many anglers, so I'd say the Greys barbel rod will be just as good mate. __________________ Dan `·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸ Big or small, look after them all! ¸.·´¯`·.¸ ><((((º> |

| Re: Greys Prodigy barble rod i have a greys prodigy rod for my zandering its got two top sections which are 1 1/2lb test and a 2lb test top sections i always use ther 2lb test top section i have to say richard its got beautiful playing action when playing fish on it i,ve had pike to 21lb and its tamed them brilliantly and it feel great as you have the power to control the fish with out losing that satifying feeling of the fight also they cast a dream too but then again what more could you espect from a rod that had a life time gaurantee . in my opinion its a top rod and when my three custom built zed rods come to the end of there time thats what i,m going to replace them with ![]() tightlines kevin ![]() |

| Re: Greys Prodigy barble rod I have a pair of Greys Prodigy Barbel rods, they are a pleasure to use and even when I have had a double (not very often alas) they never seem to lockup and still seem to have more power to give in reserve. The 'Prodigy Barbel' comes with a beautifully sensitive avon tip plus a tip with 2,3 & 4oz quivers. Given the choice I would choose the Harrisons Chimeras but I would find it hard to justify £400 for a pair of rods that will only last me 5 or 6 years (I give them quite a lot of abuse). so it's the Prodigies for me and I think they are excellent rods and with the lifetime warranty and at half the price of the Harrisons you can't go wrong.
