| Less than a month.. ..until the river opens, so who will be going barbel fishing? What methods will you be using for them? I want too try for them properly this year, as have heard the fight is incredible.  Re: Less than a month.. I will be out there after the Rivers open up again. I have some lovely Barbel waters near to me. My best method is 1/2 Gallon of Casters, 1/2 Gallon of cooked Hemp as goundbait and feeder filler. Hook baits include the above plus plain luncheon meat, Peparami cubes and scopex luncheon meat. Methods: Feeder, straight lead and Crowquill Avon Float probably 10 or 12 BB size, great for holding back in the flow Old methods die hard    __________________ Eventually all things merge into one, and a River runs through it.
