After barbel!!!!

Had a few hour session on Bob's Island last nite,my friend had a nice 7lb barbel and i thought i'd foulhooked a nice fish when reeling in one of my baits to recast, until we netted this and it had taken my 10mm bloodworm boilie on the retrieve

It only weighed 8lb but was my first "Trent" Pike

Re: After barbel!!!!

Nice one Gaz, and on a boilee too.

nb. Thats the second Pike I've heard of taking a moving boilee, a mate of mine also had one that took his strawberry boilee on the first cast of the season as it settled on the bottom (a few seasons ago).

Re: After barbel!!!!

Gr8t stuff !
Had a similar experiance with a 4lb 12oz Chub on the URE once.
It took a 1" cube of Luncheon Meat retrieved quickly on the top !

Obviously go for the disturbance.

Ripple.
