Had a few hour session on Bob's Island last nite,my friend had a nice 7lb barbel and i thought i'd foulhooked a nice fish when reeling in one of my baits to recast, until we netted this and it had taken my 10mm bloodworm boilie on the retrieve ![]() ![]() It only weighed 8lb but was my first "Trent" Pike |

| Re: After barbel!!!! Nice one Gaz, and on a boilee too. ![]() nb. Thats the second Pike I've heard of taking a moving boilee, a mate of mine also had one that took his strawberry boilee on the first cast of the season as it settled on the bottom (a few seasons ago). __________________ My Web Site (The Average Coarse Angler) Happiness is Fish Shaped (It used to be woman shaped but the wifes getting on a bit now) |

| Re: After barbel!!!! Gr8t stuff ! Had a similar experiance with a 4lb 12oz Chub on the URE once. It took a 1" cube of Luncheon Meat retrieved quickly on the top ! Obviously go for the disturbance. Ripple. |
