Where to fish on the Severn?

Hi there,

I am looking to fish somewhere on the severn for a couple of days next month but have never fished the river. If anyone could suggest an area that gives a good chance of catching numbers of barbel rather than a few big ones i would be very grateful : )

best places imo above arley hextons farm baa stretch trimpley and below bewdley the latter being the best imo
