Burnt for Barbel

After a late start this morning, arrived at River Severn, just downstream Bridgenorth, and fished the Meadow section. Final result 1 Barbel (5 lb), and a nice sunburnt face. Totally worth the brow fire, to get run up and down the river by a mad fish. Sizzle you later.

Steve.

Well worth a visit bud. Any of the tackle shops in Bridgenorth will give you plenty of info about day-tickets, free waters etc. The Meadow section is B.A.A, day-ticket available on bank, but the car-park situated in Severn Street is quite a walk to the Meadow section, so dont do what i did, and travel light if you can. Meat and pellets seem most popular, but ive caught on most baits. All the best.
