Re: How has your season been?

My season has been great with Barbel and Chub feeding well and with me beating my venue records a couple of times and with no blanks at all, I had a couple of accidental biggish Carp (18lb & 21lb 4oz) while Tenching with 4.5lb line on our clubs Estate Lake, were I also caught some 5lb plus Tench, Plus I had a couple of 2lb-plus Roach from a small Hertfordshire stream. nb. My mate had a nice 4lb plus Perch from the same stream.

But like you kfsand I haven't been out much during the colder weather this year.

Re: How has your season been?

Caught two barbel.

This is really only my first serious session after a long lay off so I've been getting to know the venues round me. I haven't always been able to go when and where I wanted so have had my fair share of blanks. I'd rather catch than not , having said that I'd rather learn that just not progress. I've set some realistic and some more stretching goals for this year too to keep me focused. Have had some good days too especially on the canal and catching carp off the surface in the summer.

I am very optimistic this year is going to be even better.
