Question Blanching Pellet's

Hi All
Thinking of Blanching some Pellet's and adding a flavour's or two to give them a little more smell and leakage in the winter month's and coloured water.
What is the best way you yourself have found for doing this Job.
Any Tip's would be great becouse you can never stop learning for other angler's in are Sport.

Re: Blanching Pellet's

I just put them in a tub , pour some boiling water on them, to scald them ,then add some monster crab flavour into the tub , give it a good shake ,job done

Re: Blanching Pellet's

I'm getting lazy as I get older, I usually just buy ready flavoured pellets and wrap some soft flavoured paste round the pellets for extra attraction as the flavour leaks downstream.
In the winter I find Spicey, Chilli, Lamprey or Crab flavours work well on my streams.

Re: Blanching Pellet's

mix the flavour 50 50 with water, because a oil based flavour wont let the pellets absorb the flavour and just coat them, unless they are carp pellets, were you can use it nearly neat.
