Fishing Henley/Shiplake on Thames

I'm new to this guys so kindly bare with me...

I'm off to Shiplake, Henley-on-Thames this weekend for 48hrs of solid fishing. Aiming for Barbel & Chubb but with my form this season I'm not opptimistic! Hoping someone out there has some experience and advice on how to best fish the Henley section of the Thames?
