Hi All
Looking to get a River rod pod (two rod one) for the new season, can anyone out there recommend a good one that you have tried and tested as there is so many on the market.
Any review would be very greatful and tight lines for the new river season.

Re: River Rod Pod

I never fish with more than one rod for Barbel, because If I am not touch ledgering anyway (so making 2 rods impossible), I prefer concentrating 100% on one rod rather than share 50% of my time on each rod; also one rod in exactly the right spot is worth more than 2 rods in 'almost' the right spot.
But it depends on the individuals preferences.
I have lost count of the number of Barbel that have tried to take my rod off the rodrest but would probably have succeeded if I had used two rods.

Re: River Rod Pod

Hi there,

Trafford Angling in Manchester do a very good river pod for Barbel which I believe has been reviewed on BFW but if you give them a call on 0161 864 1211 (ask for Dave) I think that you may find that there is a Mk2 version about to be released.

Cheers

Danny
