barbel fishing (friday)

I will be trying anchor medow on friday should be there for half 5, to get the weir peg this time, i hope it will produce a few more barbel this time just boiled 8 pints of hemp seed for the feeder. so lets hope i find the fish this time !! anyone interested can join me i can try and hold a peg for two

No none the members of the club are coming because they are working and iam on a days holiday on friday ! was in alcester today looked at the river been a forecast for some rain on friday morning !! last time i went it fished ok below the weir but above it fished very poorly ... if you need a reel you know me ive always gotta spare ;) just bring ya brolly and rod mate ive got everything else ive got loadsa bait

Time for another cold one

started fishing at 6.30 not much flow on the river first thing in the morning first barble at about 6lb 7.30 followed by a 3lb chub by about 11 am i had lost two good barbel broke the line clean off 1 pm had a barbel which was 9lb then it started to rain heavy in the afternoon the river rose by about 6 inches i packed up at 4.30 pm and headed home wet but happy with a good days fishing
