best place in north east?

any one knw of any gd spots in the north east i bin 2 a few places but didnt catch so if any one knws where i mite catch plz let me knw thnx alot

hartlepool is good for fishing, the river tees is the place to go. or if you can go to the headland in hartlepool. the river tyne is good for bass stocks...

theres a beach at horden near blackhall colliery i fish quite regular and ive never blanked on, i nearly won a competition there lol. also in hartlepool, there are good piers, the middleton and the red light to name just a couple. also for flatties, i think parton beach in hartlepool or haul beach in seaham cant be beat. the beach near horden gets cod regular in winter, plenty of little coalies and pollack too with an abundance of whiting.
