THAILAND - March 2005

I will be spending a few weeks backpacking with the missus in Thailand next month and of course, am trying to research as much as I can about the fishing opportunities that might be available to me.

Whilst I will try to go on at least one proper charter trip off the Andaman coast, and have found a fair bit of info on this on the net, I have not found much info on shore fishing.

Can anyone help with tips/advice/suggestions/locations/tackle/methods etc.?

spent alot of time out ther and the fishing is great!
is it just sea fishing your arfter? thers some great mekong cats and snakehead fishing to be done! aswell as some good barracuda and travaly
were abouts ar you heading ?

get a guid! this is the diffrence between sitting in a mozzy snake infested swamp looking like a d**k, or sitting in a mozzy snake infested swamp catching decent fish!
