| South Coast fishing Hi all, after some advice for my 3rd fishing trip (first two didn't go to plan). I've tried brightion harbour wall and then selsey next to the lifeboat station. This time i'm going prepared with peeler and squid as i've found mackrel unsuccessful. I'm not clued up on beach casting as i'm used to corse fishing and there's definatly alot more to learn with sea fishing! Got a couple of places i'd like to go, hayling island, chesil beach or selsey again. Any place would be good, i'd like to catch a COD or a smooth hound. All advise taken, thanks! |

| Re: South Coast fishing hi, we are all waiting for the cod to show up, most beaches you mention should produce hounds at some time, most people fish darkness for both these species, patience is paramount to locating feeding fish, one session can be hectic, next session, same swim same bait etc will be devoid of fish, if your lucky enough to be there at the right time you will catch. good luck __________________ good luck and tight lines chris lifes to short for animosity. |
