| Newbie looking to sea fish in East Anglia Hello all, New to this forum, but not to fishing in general. Looking for some advice for a complete newbie sea angler, on where to go for a first time and hopefully make it worthwhile to go back to again and again. Open to suggestions, anywhere from around Southend round to Hunstanton area should be easy to get to from here. Gear is not much of an issue, as I have a couple of beach rods and reels. Thanks very much in advance. |

| Re: Newbie looking to sea fish in East Anglia Holidayed in Norfolk about five years ago in August and visited Cromer one evening. Anglers were fishing off the Pier and catching top quality Bass up to 8/9lb on mackeral live bait ! honest ! Some anglers were hauling in the "stripys" on feathers at one side of the pier, then they passed them (at some cost I think) to the Bass fishers ! The whole thing was unbelievable ! Drew a great crowd. Ripple. |
