I have been down round the area a couple of times and had a look around and found a few possible locations however I have not noticed anyone fishing these areas so I am not sure of they are productive of not. cheers connor |

| Re: Swanage seen a few fishing from the pier round by the lifeboat station. The only time I tried was from the front, and was plagued by spider crabs. __________________ Life is understood looking backwards, but it must be lived forwards. |

| Re: Swanage the bay was netted to buggery by idiots including the chairman of the local angling club , whos nets were trashed on numerous occasions ! plaice, wrasse, pollack, dogs and pout all come off the end and sides of the pier and theres bass too ( you can see shoals of sandeel swimming along the sides on a sunny day ) .. float will produce mackerel, pollack and garfish off the end too. the beach is best for bass when theres a bit of a blow .. the rocks heading west hold some great well known marks that will give all of the above plus strap eels and bullhuss . Summertime the place is mobbed with anglers and it's hard to fish with divers under the pier - they'll happily cut your line too __________________ Shore Species 2012: Dab-Flounder-Herring-L.S.Dogfish-Pouting-Shore Rockling-5 Bearded Rockling-Small Eyed Ray-Turbot-Whiting |

| Re: Swanage Thanks for this guys I will look into getting down there this summer and trying out a few marks round the rocks as everytime I have been down the pier and the bay have been flooded by people and it would be difficult to fish around these areas. I have had a few run inns with divers and they never end well for your tackle. I think I will try the rocks at the point around the lifeboat station. and then move down the coast towards anvil point. Hopefully there may be a few marks down that way. |
