| mark Hi everyone first time here, im of to penzance area for a couple of weeks armed with our 15ft seahog boat just wondered does anybody have any tips as to where and what to do to do to catch in the area , first boat ive owned and not really wanting to venture to far out on my first outing with me 80 year old dad.. any help advice would be nice or if your in the area maybe you would like to come out ..cheerrs mark., got a really good dgps /fish finder so hopefully that will help . 65hp with 5 back up flares radio etc so should atleast be safe.. fingers crossed |

First post here so I don't expect to be that helpful but I live in St.Just and have heard that the reefs near Lamorna are supposed to be full of fish and if that's not to your liking there's supposed to be some great fishing just the other side of Marizion. Alternatively I've seen a fair few boats stopping not far from Cape Cornwall (near Pendeen) and they must be fishing as they stay put for a few hours at a time before moving on. I've never fished from a boat before and don't really have much experiance fishing the sea but if your willing to let me I'd be delighted to come out and point you in the right direction. May even be able to provide a few drinks to keep your spirits up ;) |

| Re: mark hi well thanks for replying I'm home again now in rainy reading but ill be back in Cornwall next summer.. i know pendeen as my parents used to live on the coast just down the road for 15 years ill store this message and give you a shout when I'm coming back down we will be staying in new bridge for around 4 weeks i expect.. i also have been told about the reefs near lamorma many years ago i used to fish from the shore off the point there also at the life boat station near mousehole ..got a new fish finder now with all the wreck info on a memory stick so will be giving them a bash hopefully should get some pollock but really want to try and target base and turbot.. cheers mark |
