| Re: CHESIL beach for those thorny's this year any ideas. chesil is not a venue where i'd target thornies, though i hear of the odd one caught every now and then , as far as i know, they are mostly claimed from the almost inaccessable middle section along moonfleet , and even then maybe a result of mistaken identity as undulates show along the length of chesil. the section where i've seen pictures of small ones is bexy to cogden there are loads of people out there who know chesil better than i, so perhaps they know different. for thornies i'd fish the large deep water estuarys to the west like plymouth, bristol channel marks , or the solent . but i'd wait to hear more from someone who knows chesil well , coz i don't, p'raps they do turn up more frequently than i know about but ppl are keeping shtum __________________ beer so many venues, so little time. |
