| Fishing between the Solent and Bognor - roughly Hello guys and gals, I'm new to this site and looking for advice for up to a dozen good pals who enjoyed boat fiishing in North Wales in the last few years. This coming year we want to fish the South Waters. I need to book a skippered boat for 2 days, and a camp site close by (We have 2 tents) in the first Bank Holiday week-end in 2010 but we have no idea where best to fish or where to stay. Oh and of course we need a bar to get to with a little entertainment if possible - As I say, really good guys. Have you guys got any recommendations please Cheers ![]() John |

| Hi John & welcome to the Forum. Try this link for a good list of charter boats & their contact details along with details of pubs and places to stay etc: http://www.deepsea.co.uk/ As for somewhere on the south coast to stay, you'd have to go a long way to beat Weymouth. It has one of the UKs top charter fleets, lots of campsites & a good nightlife with lots of pubs & resturaunts etc. Weymouth boats that I can personally reccomend are Colin Pennys boat Flamer & Josh Simmonds boat Revolution. Good luck with your search. ![]() ![]() __________________ "The fish and I were both stunned and disbelieving to find ourselves connected by a line." William Humphrey " |
