beach fishing portsmouth to southampton Recommendations??

Hi Guys

Recently found the addiction of fishing, looking for a good mark to fish. Been to Chilling,Hillhead,Warsash,Lepe. So far hillhead has been good. Caught a 4.5lb Bass! After a new venue, looking at going at the weekend. Thinking about Hurst Shingle.

Whats hurst like at the mo? any other good recommendations?

Thanks.

Probably be to weedy up there after this blow mate as will most places i would of thought!! but certainly worth getting out once these winds drop off maybe try one of the Gosport beaches Hillhead/stokes bay?

Maybe even Hayling or Eastney as there should be Bass in close and a chance of a Cod at distance

imho, avoid hurst shingle on a spring tide especially through summer & when a storm has stirred the weed up.

hi mate, like eddie said along there is really weedy at the mo after that blow. i would try a more sheltered area for bass. pompy harbour is sheltered, the hard to be exact. i catch bass all the time there and me biggest is 10lb 11oz.
if you fancy a wak, PM me your number and we will arange something
