Where to start fishing in North Wales ?

Hello All,
I'm new here and this is my first post. I'm starting on fishing again after 10years. I'm from Portugal but now living in Wrexham and is time to have something extra to do. Becaus I don't know anithing about fishing in UK I'm searching on the internet for rods and reels just to start but one of my biggest problems is where to fish and what should I start fishing. I've heard that Holyhead is a nice place but I would like to know from you if I should go to other area.

Lleyn Peninsula is your best bet if you ask me. Lots of variety, bass,huss, flatfish, mackeral, wrasse, eels, dogfish of course and lots more.

If it is boat fishing you are looking for then Rhyl seems ok for Gurnard upto about 8lb, or Amlwch, or Cearnarfon. Shore fishing you would have Lleyn, Holyhead Breakwater, Menai Straights.

depends what you want to fish from , boat . shore .rocks ?
Steves supreme 2 from Rhyl is a good boat to go on ,top skipper too ,
There ae some good skippers on Anglesey aswell


Nice easy fishing .is had at Flint cob.grass bank rhl,sssady beaach off the prom on high cown baaa (ouut of your car )
Penan , PPPebles on tthe beach
Llanddno therre is the pier and north shore
We have a good varit f fiiish whitting , codling , bass , rocklng, poor cod ,most of the flat fish , eels . dogfish maccy,s wrasse pluss few others caught from the shore ,
From the boats
huss , Tope ,, smouthound bass gurnard etc , From the rocks the world can be your oyster on a good day

iv had my boat for 12 months now and am finding it hard to catch the elusive bass and bream, iv caught hoards of mackerel and the plentiful doggys. has any one any ideas of place and baits to use, hopefully march or april will be 1st days fishing

hi there ive fished wales for 17 years the best place i have found is the lyn peninsula for bass and bream place and some huge pollock,and a few cod but its all about noing good marks around there ,
