Rock fishing in Minorca

I only really fly fish these days but as I often go to the canaries and Balarics, I always take a couple of travel rods and spend my time "splogging" with other sad souls.
I'm off to Calla Galdana where I've fished off the rocks and Harbour (small inlet) for mullet, garfish. small bass and other odds and sods.
Bread, sweetcorn and bacon rind are available (the fish are quite cute with these and they don't stay on the hook long )but the area is too small to stock Gambas, Big prawns or raw sardines etc.
Does anyone know if I can take any suitable dried or imitation bait from the UK which might work?
