Tide mills

Hello just wondered if anybody fishes tide mills in newhaven for mullet?
If so when would you say the best time to go is cause when ever i go there
i dont seem to do very well! I know its not the tactics that are letting me down
i seem to go when it is very hit'n'miss or if anybody could let me know when they
have a good session i would be very greatfull

ps any info on the thin lipped up newhaven river would be great to :wink:

Catch plenty mate but would love to catch more :wink: i love the fish and they
give such a good sport on light gear :wink:

It's just tide mills that gets on my nerves cause you here about all these fish and
go there only to blank or miss a few!! lol

all mullet marks are hit or miss

you can have a good day then next day have nothin

thats why people love catchin them for the fight

never mind the gates where is newhaven? lol my poor geography again i have heard that they catch good mullet in newhaven i just cant remember where it is im looking for somewhere to go with gf on a summer hol for the mullet so if anyone knows where there is bigguns 6lb or over let me know im packing my bags and coming down for a week!
