Hi Demetri.

You should go to your local tackle shop and ask for some advice from them. Tell them what sort of species you are after and they should be able to give you that local advice. They will also know where is fishing best at the moment.

One thing is for sure, if you are fishing from the shore you won't be needing feathers until the weather warms up a good bit and the Mackerel start to move in.

I don't really know what the fishing's like on the other side of the Exe Demetri, but this side is fairly poor at the moment. One or two Bass coming out, but the flounder are starting to disappear and the are huge amounts of pout and dogs around. It'll be another few weeks before the fishing starts to pick up I guess.

Please god, let it be soon!
