Where to fish in Norway, and how to get there? LOOK HERE

Hi,

I have noticed that it is not very easy to find information about good, better, best fishing spots in Norway for Cod, Halibut and Coalfish.

At first, i started to offer my services for Finnish people only, but as i have been talking with lots of British fishing tourists about this in Norway, i decided i could help British people too in finding information & making bookings.

I co-operate with three (3) different fishing camps at area of Tromso, they all offer good quality cabins for up to 6 persons, good quality boats with GPS/Sonar etc.. at good fishing spots. Prices are very reasonable!! Tromso airport is not difficult to reach from UK, there might be direct flights or you might have to travel through Oslo etc... Owners of the camp will pick you up from airports & take you back there in the end of the holiday with fair price.
Anyway, it is an easy fishing spot to go to. You are at fishing areas in a day. Here in Finland people drive over 1600 kilometers (abt 1000 miles) to get to those same spots.
Open sea is close to all of these places.
At good weather, you can drive out to the open sea in 30-45 minutes. Anyhow, it is not always necessary as these spots are at locations where strong currents come and go. So, if you are lucky, you only have to drive 300meters out from the cabins like the German guy i saw this august, he went out 300 meters and started pilking with a small (100gram) lure, and came back with a nice 8 kilo halibut!!

Also, i co-operate with the most extreme fishing camp in Norway, they arrange trips to island of Röst, which is the most far-out island of Lofoten. Distance to the coast is about 100 kilometers. Catches are huge, cods of over 20 kilo are caught 95% daily. Halibuts are gigantic aswell, so you might have the chance to fight with a halibut that weights more than You. Price, of course, is a bit high aswell but definately worth spending, at least once in a lifetime. Closest airport is Bodö.

If you are interested to go to Norway, and do some nice fishing, i might be able to help you. I am NOT a professional tour operator, but a person that helps people to go and try the fishing at Norwegian sea, after first time you will get back for sure! (I did, and i have been coming back since 2001, this year 7 times and i cant get enough of it!! Fishing is great, culture is great, scenery is magnificent.. Prices are about the same as in Finland so I like it here a lot!)

My service will not cost you a dime, only thing i do is help, give advice, make a booking for you to the cabins (s) and boat (s) and that's it. Of course you are wondering why i do this? Well, i get a small comission from all bookings, but they are sold to the customer with normal prices. So my work will not affect to your prices.
I can be contacted through e-mail at petri.peltonen@levi.fi
or with GSM (i recommend this more, it is faster and easier) +358 400 738964

Here is a small taster from last September in Skjervöy, 18,5kg lovely cod (sorry for the blood):

And a small taster of a halibut hunt last summer at Röst (21, 25, 29kg):

Here is a nice 16 kilo coalfish, caught with a shad jig at Röst
