| need advice on exmouth hy there all... going on family holiday in 2 weeks, for 1 wk to sandy bay, exmouth. as its a family holiday my fishing will be limited, so has anyone got any advice on how to get the most of fishing there? i am aiming on shore angling and a possible few hours on a boat trip with the 2 kids ..... any hints and tips will be very much appreciated. thanks |

There are quite a few reports from these beaches on this forum that you could search for. Ping even did a great write up on Budleigh. As for the boats, I tend not to get out much on them due to being a landlubber. There are however several top class boat in Exmouth. I'm sure someone should be able to let you know about these in advance. | Re: need advice on exmouth many thanks for the info.. we'll be situ at sandy bay so defo give that a shot! ive read several comments on what sounds like a trek back up from the beach??? i take it theres a bit of a climb? when i get a quieter moment (kids to bed) then ill search this forum as suggested thanx! im not too bothered on specific target fishin yet! but the missus would be happy with something for the BBQ!!! and we'll be doing a bit of driving/ exploring.... from what ive seen its a wonderfull / beautifull part of the world! as i have read sandy bay is very popular for bathers etc is it still safe to fish from the shore ? is there a particular area to head to, out the way ? erm......... also forgot to ask if theres somewhere to buy bait near sandy bay? thanx again mark |

| Re: need advice on exmouth hi we stayed at sandy bay this time last yeay and caught a few bass on the campsites beach on dexter spinners best time is early evening hopefully when the tide is on the way in all caught at about 10 yards out __________________ fishing is fishing if you catch anything it,s a bonus |

so when im on sandy bay one evening doing a bit of spinnin for the master bass i will easily identify you as the one with the cigar and night robe on with some-one else doing the baiting up for you!!!! |
