Thumbs up Re: fishing in NE scotland (Aberdeenshire)

Charlie there are loads of marks around the Aberdeen area. I use this local website to get info on where to fish. I have not fished Aberdeen yet this year due to me being out of the country but i shall get around to it soon.

Here is the website for you. I hope it helps.

Re: fishing in NE scotland (Aberdeenshire)

The only other thing i can suggest is to fish more to the west of Aberdeen/Fraiserburgh. I go to the little ports that can be found off the costal road. I am in the Elgin area so i am afraid i can only mention places nearer to there. But really anywhere along the coastline. If you can get access then fish it. It will normally produce fish. If not...then set a day aside and get yourself over to the west coast. Ullapool is only about 3.5 hours from aberdeen and has some fantastic marks/scenery.

Re: fishing in NE scotland (Aberdeenshire)

Hey Charliekemp, what kind of rigs etc have you been using? How far are you casting? And what kind of slope does the beach have, i.e. how deep is the water you are fishing? Are you using grip leads or plain, simply changing from one to the other can find fish.
