| Re: fishing in NE scotland (Aberdeenshire) on hte beach i use a pennell, a single boom, one with the weight above the hook and ones i make up that i don't know names for, sizes of hooks are from 3/0 down to a 3, i use plain weights, never caught a flatty with a grip weight, the water is aprox 1ft down to maybe 4/5 maybe a little deeper, its hard to say because i start just before low tide and wait till bout 2 hours after low tide, that seems to fish the best here, casting may be 25 to 100 yards out. |

| Re: fishing in NE scotland (Aberdeenshire) There are a lot of good places up you'r way Portlethen, cove harbour, inverbervioe is a good beach mark carpark right next to beach. Better fishing there at night cod come in a lot closer good fish get caught from there. __________________ Tight lines |
