Species hunt partner required! I've decided to take part in this years species hunt but need a partner. I've not read the forum rules regarding this so I dont know if you have to actualy fish together or whether you just "pair up" with another angler and share each others successes. I just want to be aware of the commitment needed as I work a rolling shift pattern and have a young son who lives with me 2 days per week. I understand that the F S H is just for fun but wouldnt want to pair up with some one who was deadly keen and able to fish 4 tides per week.

Re: Species hunt partner required! Have yet to delve into the rules myself but if its allowed I would be more than willing to partner you. I'm just starting proper fishing again after several years of puddle chucking so I am dead keen on starting but like yourself I have commitments so cant get out as often as I like. Andy

Re: Species hunt partner required! Ok Andy, that would be good, but we'd better find out where we stand as far as the rules go.

Re: Species hunt partner required! It depends on what you fish for as there are two lists sea and freshwater so most pairs are made up of a sea angler and a freshwater to give yourselfs the best chance unless your a pair of all rounders which gives you an even better chance. You dont have to fish together so can be miles apart. You just have to do a report and get pics for the extra half points. benlee is a freshwater man and is looking for a sea partner I have not heard from my sea partner for a long time so i may be looking for a new sea partner hope this makes sense

Re: Species hunt partner required! Cheers Lman. looks as if we may be able to make up a couple o teams, or one big one. I still have me puddle chuckin gear and will be salt freeish during the summer. I will warn you that I am very virginal on this forum stuff but I will attempt to find out what benlee is up to as it looks as if he would be good for nick. The one thing I am worried about is you lot from zummerzet and your affiliation with that there scrumpy. tried the proper cloudy farm rough a few years ago. ouch
