I just do not think anyone will vote for a cute fish they will take the time of year , the fish caught i.e speic ect

This could go on forever and no competition would ever actually start!!!!!

Any fish, boat or shore or riverbank or anywhere.

Important thing is that the aforementioned details are stated on submission of each photo and then the members will vote on merit of individual fish. The only danger is voter bias i.e. if the competition/vote is within the sea fishing section only, the seafishermen may consider a 5lb smutt a better fish than a 3lb crucian and believe me, a 3 lb crucian is a rare beast. So Richard, can the vote be positioned within multiple locations within the site or can a seperate section be set up or any other ideas etc.

that is a good pouitn and is sort of what i mean about boat as well,
if some1 say caught a 10lb smoothound from shore it would be better than a 10lb smoothound from boat(i think)

Also on the poll can do guide lines on what a good fish is ect

dont think we need a whole new section, just a new post for each month which is blocked for all members taking part
as for guid lines i think most people on here will be able to work it out for them selves but you can if you want, im sure if some1 got a new personal best which was smaller than another entry people might vote for that 1 more or something as well
