yes it is a nice fish but i think you need some new scales
the reason i voted for the cod is because dan was targeting cod and i think there is alot more skill envolved in beach casting than there is in dropping a bait off the edge of a peir
o yeah and i think another reason why people aint voted for you is because of the way you are going on about it, its just abit of fun!

Re: October voting

Well, I was going to vote for the trigger fish as they are a relatively rare catch but having seen the whinging comments at the lack of votes I'm afraid it's gone to Ben. Ben's fishing has really come up in the 18 months I've been a member of this forum and it goes to show what hard work, dedication and a few "innovations" of your own can do, just wish that my own fishing had improved the same amount over that time. Lovely bass, if they come around everyday in Triggers neck of the woods I'm off fishing there as I haven't managed one of any size yet. Well done to Dan on the cod, nice to see them about and well done on the trigger fish but you need to learn a bit of modesty and how to enjoy friendly competition in the manner it's intended. Also, if that fish was over 2lbs the picture really isn't very good, looks more like 1lb tops to me but don't worry we all have to try to convince people is something is bigger than it looks at some point in our lives!

Re: October voting

Well done chaps on three great fish

Was a hard task to choose what fish i was gonna vote for this time but i have to say i have voted for the triger fish as its a fine fish and i personaly dont get many chances to catch them down my way as ive only had 2 in the past 14 odd years. Great to see your personal best Ben but im sure its not gonna be long till you smash that pb out the window look forward to seeing that mate!! and Dan....cracking lil codling hope its the first of many for this season for ya and maybe next one will be a nice 8lb plus for ya!!

anyway all in all well done chaps and keep up the good fishing!!!

Ollie.
